"When I was a child, I was sexually abused. For decades the memories remained hidden, but in recent years they resurfaced, becoming my catalyst for change. Through my photography, I have discovered a way to heal as a survivor and hope to help others discover their own journeys to mending the past. Inspired by family and friends I have reached out to other survivors to create a community where we can all call upon one another. Using social media and word-of-mouth, we have gathered together to share our experiences. Us Too is a depiction of stories told by survivors of sexual abuse and brings to light the experiences of men and women who have come forward to report the crime and/or have taken it upon themselves to heal in their own way. Boldly united and with fearless honesty, we share our stories and we WILL be heard."
